Jake founded Elite Placement Group in 2005. He has over 20 years of proven success helping local top tier organizations with their Human Capital needs. He was instrumental in building the Connecticut office for one of the tri-state areas largest privately held staffing firms. Prior to moving into the recruiting field, Mr. Makmale worked for one of the nation’s largest public accounting firms as a certified public accountant. He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Hofstra University and is also a Certified Personnel Consultant. His expertise, dedication and professionalism moved him to establish a staffing firm that strives for excellence, trust, and integrity.

Jason is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Elite Placement Group. Jason has over 20 years of professional experience serving major corporate clients in the Tri-State area in industries such as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Corporate Administration. Jason’s exceptional track record in executive placement and staffing is due in part to his ability to quickly identify a client's needs and the right candidate for the job. Cynthia’s staffing career spans over 15 years in Executive Recruitment and Human Resources. She held positions in Human Resources with two major publicly traded organizations. She was recruited by one of the world’s largest Accounting & Finance staffing firms to head up a branch office. After several successful years with this firm she transferred to one of the largest tri-state area firms, where she established a reputation for dedication, integrity and professionalism in getting the job done. As co-founder of Elite Placement Group, she brings over 20 years of professional experience with a demonstrated ability for a clear understanding of her clients needs.

John is a seasoned agency and corporate recruiter with over 16 years of experience. He has worked with top tier firms in various industries including Financial Services, Consumer Products, Entertainment and Manufacturing. John possess a strong understanding of matching candidates with top quality companies in the CT and NY markets. He is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University and a former Division II baseball player with a Nationally ranked program.

Terrence Lawrence joined Elite Placement Group in 2015 and fell in love with the industry early. Terrence brings positive high energy and an ambitious mentality everyday into the office. Terrence graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 2014 with his degree in Criminal Justice and Law, and was a two year starter on defense for their lacrosse team. His original plan was to go to Law School but instead found his passion helping people improve their lives by finding them a new career. Terrence is an avid fan of The Atlanta Falcons, UNC Basketball and The New York Mets.

Brandon Bubba joined Elite Placement Group in 2018. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and was the basketball manager for four years. Before joining Elite Placement Group, he worked in the financial services industry on both the buy and sell side. He is extremely passionate, and a relationship-driven recruiter. He is an avid sports fan and loves to play golf on the weekends.

Michael graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Elite Placement Group, he combined his charismatic personality with his relationship-building focus to become a top nationally ranked sales professional. He has brought that relationship-building passion into the recruiting world and has not looked back. When Michael is not at the office he loves spending time with friends and family, and all things nerdy: collectibles, playing video games, and watching movies

Rick graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a minor in Psychology. Prior to joining Elite Placement Group, Rick worked at multiple financial institutions varying from fintech to hedge funds, primarily on the operational teams. When Rick is not in the office he enjoys golfing, watching sports, and hanging out at the beach with his girlfriend and dog.

With over 15 years of dedicated recruiting experience, Sean is a warm and enthusiastic professional. His expertise predominantly revolves around the fields of finance, accounting, tax, and audit, among various other disciplines. Sean's strengths shine through his natural affability, unwavering communication skills, and his enduring connections with candidates and clients alike. His enthusiasm for the world of recruitment stems from a deep commitment to securing the perfect fit for both employers and job seekers. Beyond the office, Sean's interests extend to indulging in the world of fantasy football, culinary experimentation, and unwinding with loved ones on his patio.

Connor graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Economics. Prior to Elite Placement Group, Connor’s passion for recruiting started right out of college recruiting in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. His experience also consists of tech sales and boat sales. When Connor is not in the office, he spends his time instructing watersports, snowboarding, and playing hockey.

Amanda is the face that will greet you when you walk into Elite Placement Group. Amanda joined the team in 2018, bringing an open and dedicated mindset to the office. While still new to the recruitment world, Amanda is experienced in office management and thoroughly enjoys helping others. Amanda graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's in English. When not in the office, she loves spending time with her friends and family, bingeing too many Netflix shows, and being a Mommy to her little boy.
